SCAN membership is inclusive and is accessible to all who have a role to play in the socio-economic development community of Stellenbosch. Membership is open to Non-Governmental organisations, Community-based organisations, formal Social Welfare organisations, National, Provincial and local government representatives, religious organisations, trade unions, training institutions and consumer organisations or Social Enterprises. Member organisations are required to pay a nominal annual membership fee. Non-voting membership Voting membership is exclusive to civil society organisations and individual members. Although membership may include representation from state institutions who are recognized as major role players in the development field, they will not have voting rights. If your organisation falls in any of the above mentioned categories and is not yet a member of SCAN, we would love to welcome you to the network and connect you with other organisations in the sector. Once registered, you can create your NGO profile that will be listed on our NGO Directory with a dedicated webpage for your organisation.
